Loft Flooring

Having a floored loft makes it much more useable, and safer than balancing on the joists. The amount you have floored is up to you and you can have as much or as little as you want. We usually suggest the area you will be walking on is the most important and should be considered first. Many customers start with this and have more boarding done as the need arises.

To board the loft we need it to be reasonably clear. If we have to empty the loft before starting work there will unfortunately be an extra charge. To avoid you having to empty the loft we can often board the loft in two halves. This way you can move your things to one half, we can board the clear side then leave. You move your things to the boarded half and we return on another day to board the second half. There is no extra charge for this.

For flooring we use an 18mm tongue and groove chipboard flooring to BS EN 312-4

Each loft will need to be quoted individually but as a rough guide an area 20ft x 10ft would be from £275,

an area 12ft x 6ft from £99.
