Spacefinders is a small family business that has specialised if supplying and fitting loft ladders for over nine years. We have our own workshop and all our hatches and housings are manufactured in house.

The Team

As you can see we're a pretty small business, just the two of us with occasional assistance from number one son when he's not at university.

If you, your wife, mother, or granny are nervous about the thought of being alone in a house with strange workmen you will be pleased to see one of us is a lady !

Being small does unfortunately mean that if we're sick or on holiday your work may be delayed, but other than that it's mostly advantages for you : because the buck stops with us !

It will be me that quotes you and measures your hatch, if it's wrong it's my fault I can't blame the "salesman"

It will be me that manufactures your new hatch, if it's wrong I can't blame the manufacturer, and it's up to me to put it right.

It will be us that fits your ladder and hatch so no " the salesman shouldn't have offered to do that " excuses. If I offered you something you will get it.

And if you should have a problem and need to speak to us it will be us you speak to no " I will pass on your message to the relevant department " excuses either.

Because most of our business comes from personal recommendations  your satisfaction is important to us and you can always be assured of our best efforts.

I honestly believe in our case you will find small really is better.
